AP Jagananna Vidya Deevena Scheme Full Details, Eligibility, Application Form

The Andhra Pradesh government has launched a scholarship program for post-matric students called the Jagananna Vidya Deevena Scheme. This scheme provides financial assistance to eligible students from poor financial background, including those belonging to SC, ST, EBC, and BC castes. The Jagananna Vidya Deevena Scheme has helped a large number of students in Andhra Pradesh by alleviating their financial burden and enabling them to pursue higher education. The scheme offers both RTF (Reimbursement of Tuition Fees) and MTF (Maintenance and Transportation Funds) scholarships to eligible students.

AP Jagananna Vidya Deevena Scheme Overview

The Jagananna Vidya Deevena Scheme was officially launched in February 2020 by the Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister, Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, for the 2020-21 academic year. The Vidya Deevena Scheme provides financial support to eligible students to pursue quality education. Under this scheme, students receive reimbursement for tuition fees for all available courses.

Vidya Deevena Scheme Eligibility

Eligible Students:

• Students pursuing Polytechnic, ITI, and Degree & above level courses.
• Day scholar students, students in College Attached Hostels (CAH), and Department Attached Hostels (DAH).
• Students must maintain a 75% attendance to receive scholarships.
• The total family annual income must be less than or equal to Rs. 2.50 lakhs.
• No member of the family should be a government employee/pensioner, except for sanitary workers.
• No member of the family should own a four-wheeler, except for taxis, tractors, and autos.
• Families who own no property or less than 1500 Sq. Ft. of built-up area in urban areas are eligible

Ineligible Students:

• Students studying in Private Universities/Deemed Universities.
• Students pursuing Correspondence/Distance education courses.
• Students admitted under Management/Spot Quota.

How to Apply Jagananna Vidya Deevena Scheme

1. Download the Jnanabhumi Scholarship Application Form (J-SAF):Visit Jnanabhumi Website, click on Fresh Registration Form to download it located at top. You can download the J-SAF form from the official website or collect it from your college.
2. Fill out the J-SAF form: Completly fill the J-SAF form accurately and submit the signed copy to your college principal.
3. College Principal’s verification: The college principal will verify the details in the J-SAF form and submit it online through Jnanabhumi during the admission process. Upon successful submission, you will receive an SMS confirming your application.
4. Biometric authentication at Mee Seva Centre: Visit a Mee Seva Centre and provide your Jnanabhumi application ID and Aadhaar number to access your application form. Provide biometric authentication.
5. Download and print the application form: Once the application is submitted, you will receive a printout of the form.
6. Now your Jagananna Vidya Deevena Scheme process is Complete.
