What is MJPTBCWREIS BC Gurukul
Telangana Mahatma Jyothibha Phule BC Gurukul is the official institutional society that facilitates the online admissions process and manages the complete procedure. Currently, students can enroll in BC Gurukul schools for classes 6th, 7th, and 8th through this portal. The admission process is now open to all eligible students, and those interested can apply online. Admissions began on January 8th, and the last date for BC Gurukul 6th, 7th, and 8th class applications is February 15, 2024.
After completing the online application, students are required to take an admission exam. Upon successful completion of the exam, eligible students will have the opportunity to join BC Gurukuls at no cost. Currently, the admission process is ongoing, and exam dates will be announced soon. This pertains specifically to students in the 6th, 7th, and 8th classes.

Eligibility Criteria For MJPTBCWREIS BC Gurukul
- Students must be studying in 5th, 6th, or 7th class in a recognized Government/Aided/Recognised Private School in Telangana during the previous academic year.
- Students must have secured at least 50% marks in all subjects in the previous annual examination.
- Income Limit:-
- The annual income of the students’ parents/guardians must not exceed Rs.1,50,000/- for rural areas and Rs.2,00,000/- for urban areas.
- Age Limit:
- For 6th grade: Must be Equal or less than 12 years old on 31st August 2024.
- For 7th grade: Must be Equal or less than 13 years old on 31st August 2024.
- For 8th grade: Must be Equal or less than 14 years old on 31st August 2024.

How to Apply For MJPTBCWREIS BC Gurukul
To apply for 6th, 7th, and 8th class BC Gurukul, you need to gather the mentioned documents and create a soft copy of your photo and signature. The process has two main steps: 1. Online payment 2. Online application.
1. Online Payment Process:-
- Visit the official portal of MJPTBCWREIS.
- Look for the BC Gurukul notification; if needed, read it.
- Click on the Online Payment option for admission.
- A popup page will open; start entering basic details correctly, such as the class you’re applying for, district, name, community, date of birth, mobile number, and other details.
- The fee amount will appear; continue with the payment. BC Gurukul fees, it is Rs. 100.
- After payment, a receipt will generate; save or print it. The next process depends on this receipt.
2. Online Application Process:-
To initiate the online application, complete the following steps. After the online payment process, retain the receipt containing the journal number and payment date.
- Visit the MJPTBCWREIS portal homepage and select the “Online Application” option.
- A popup page will appear; enter your journal number, payment date, and date of birth. Upload your passport-size photograph and signature, then enter the captcha before clicking “Next.”
- Fill in the second application form with details such as surname, father and mother names, address, and caste.
- In the “Study Particulars” section, provide information about your previous two years of study. Also, choose your preferred exam center.
- Proceed to the preview option, where a form displaying your entered details will appear. Confirm your information, edit if necessary, and click “Submit.”
- After submission, a download button for the application form will appear. Click to download.

Important Instruction for the Candidates While Filline Application:-
- Exam center: Applicants must select their home district as the exam center.
- School preference: Applicants must check the school list before filling in their school preference.
- Passport size photo: Applicants must keep a passport size photo ready.

Exam Syllabus, Exam Center & Selection Process
Entrance Exam:
- The entrance exam will be held in Telugu, Mathematics, and Environmental Studies (Science and Social Studies).
- For the 6th grade entrance exam, the syllabus will be based on the 5th grade curriculum.
- For the 7th grade entrance exam, the syllabus will be based on the 6th grade curriculum.
- For the 8th grade entrance exam, the syllabus will be based on the 7th grade curriculum.
- The exam will be objective type, with 100 marks (15 for Telugu, 30 for Mathematics, 15 for General Science, 15 for Social Science, and 25 for English) in a duration of 2 hours.
- Students will need to mark their answers on an OMR sheet.
- A question paper and sample OMR answer sheet are provided.
- The exam question paper will be available in Telugu and English.
Exam Center:
- The exam will be held only in the respective district of the student. The exam center details will be given on the hall ticket.
Selection Procedure for Admission to Schools:
- Eligible candidates will be selected based on their performance in the entrance exam, reservation, special category (orphan), and the candidate’s preferred school priority.

TS BC Gurukul already provides Gurukul facilities for BC caste. However, it also offers reservations for other categories with 25%, including ST, SC, EBC, others, and orphans.

- Here, you have two options to download: Candidate ID and Journal Number. Select one, enter your details, and click on “Submit.”
- Now, you can see the application form; click on “Download.”
