The newly formed Telangana government, led by the INC party, has introduced the Praja Palana program to fulfill their promises outlined in the manifesto. Recently, the INC government released the Praja Palana application form online. With this single application, individuals can apply for all promises at once, eliminating the need for multiple applications for each scheme. Now, it’s a simpler process.
Which Schemes Cover Under Praja Palana Program
- Subsidized Gas Connection: Register gas cylinder details for financial assistance, linking farmer’s ID for support.
- Farmer’s Welfare: Document land details for aid, including Aadhaar, if engaged in manual labor.
- Home Construction Aid: For Indiraamma beneficiaries, provide family details, ID proofs, and property documents.
- Entrepreneur Support: Furnish business Aadhaar or relevant IDs, including post-release details if jailed.
- Household Power Scheme: Specify electricity usage, meter connection, and unit count for the Gruha Jyothi initiative.
- Mahalakshmi Scheme: Under this scheme, there are two additional sub-schemes covering financial aid of ₹2500 for household ladies and providing subsidized gas cylinders under ₹500. Both these schemes are also covered under the Praja Palana program, requiring only the Praja Palana application.
- Rythu Bharosha: Rythu Bharosha is a similar scheme to KCR’s Rythu Bandhu scheme, essentially mirroring most of the processes. It requires only the Pattadar Passbook.
- Indiramma Indlu: Eligible families will receive financial assistance for house construction and will be provided with 250 square yards of land for Amaravirulu. Land will provide to Acknowledgement to all the heroes who participated in Telangana Udyamam.
- Gruha Jyothi: Every family will receive 200 units of electricity bill for free. To avail of this scheme, only the Praja Palana application is needed.
- Cheyutha Scheme: Within the Cheyutha Scheme, pensioners will receive ₹4000 as pension, and the pension for disabled persons will increase to ₹6000. To apply for this, fill and submit the Praja Palana program.

How to Fill Praja Palana Application
The Praja Palana program‘s application process will commence on December 28, 2023, and Ends on January 6, 2024. Once the government receives the application forms, Mahalakshmi Pathakam, Rythu Bharosha, Indiramma Indlu, Gruha Jyothi, and Cheyutha schemes will be covered. This application form consists of 10 sections for personal details and an additional section for 5 schemes along with the required document list and receipt for the applicant.
- Personal Details (1-10):
Please fill in your personal and family details in the provided table below. Include applicant name, caste, date of birth (DOB), Aadhaar number, FSC number, mobile number, and family details.
- Abhayaastham Schemes:
There are 5 schemes provided. Tick the applicable or eligible schemes and provide the mentioned details properly for each scheme.
For example, for the Mahalakshmi scheme:
- Tick the box to receive the Mahalakshmi scheme’s ₹2500 financial aid.
- Tick the second box for the ₹500 subsidized gas cylinder and provide gas details.
Complete this for all schemes. Select only the eligible schemes; leave the space blank if you are not eligible. Additionally, attach photocopies of the required documents according to the selected schemes.
