TS New Vehicle Registration Slot Booking Process

Slot booking for new vehicle registration is mandatory for everyone, and the process is simple, whether you have a bike, car, or any other vehicle.

New Vehicle Slot Booking Process:

1. Visit the TSRTA website.
2. You will reach the portal, which is the official TS RTO department portal where all RTO services are handled.
3. On the homepage, find and click on the ‘For online services and payments, click here‘ option.
4. The Automated Online Services page will open.
5. Here, you can find all services. In the registration section, click on the ‘New Vehicle Registration‘ option.
6. Enter the vehicle TR number, chassis last 5 digits, and mobile number. Click on the ‘Request for OTP’ option.
7. An OTP will be sent to your given number. Enter it and click on the ‘Get Details’ option.
8. The vehicle owner’s details will display in the ‘Applicants Information’ section below. Check your details and click on ‘Submit.’
9. Choose a date and time slot for booking. Select a date and time, where green color indicates available slots, and red color indicates full slots.
10. Continue and submit.
11. Make the payment, which is a small amount. Continue with your payment.
12. After payment, the option to print forms will open. Click on it, download the forms, and print them for slot verification.

New Vehicle Registration Slot Payment Process

If you have completed slot booking for new vehicle registration but have not made the payment, it is crucial to complete it within 24 hours; otherwise, the slot will collapse. Additionally, a penalty will be imposed during the next attempt. To avoid this, follow these steps:

1. Visit the TSRTA website.
2. Go to the “Online Services and Payments” option.
3. In the “Top Services” section, hover over “Online Transaction.” A dropdown for other services will appear; select “Registration.”
4. Next, choose the “Fresh Registration Receipt Reprint” option.
5. A new page will open; enter the application number and the last 5 digits of the chassis number. Click on the “Print/Make Payments” option.
6. The application page will appear, allowing you to continue with the payment process. Download your forms afterward.
7. Visit the concerned RTO office within the stipulated time, bringing the completed forms with you.
