The online marriage registration process in Maharashtra involves two main steps: User Registration and Online Application. If you already have account in portal then jump into second step directly.

1. User Registration

To use the portal, a user must create an account. Here’s how:

• Visit the IGR Maharashtra portal.
• Click on “Marriage Registration” you can find it under the “Online Services” section.
• On the new page, read the important details in the left sidebar.

• In the “Login” section, click on “Register Here.”
• Enter your basic details and create a password.
• Click “Submit” to complete registration.
• You’ll be redirected to the login page. Enter your credentials to log in.

2. Online Marriage Application

Once logged in, follow these steps to fill out the application:

• Click on “New Notice/Application” on the citizen dashboard.
• The application form will open on the right side.

• Office Details: Select your marriage type, district, and office address where you’ll attend after online notice approval.
• Groom Details: Enter the groom/husband’s nationality, name, date of birth, address, occupation, and contact details.
• Bride Details: Enter the bride/wife’s nationality, name, date of birth, address, occupation, and contact details.
• Witness Details: Enter details for three witnesses. Ensure their surnames don’t match each other’s or those of the bride and groom.
• Documents Upload: Upload all required copies in PDF format only. Signatures must be in JPG format under 50 KB (compress if needed).
• Photo Update: Click “Capture Photo” to take photos of both individuals. Ensure they are colored, front-facing, with open eyes. Retake if necessary.
• eKYC: Click “Verify with OTP” and complete Aadhaar eKYC for both individuals. Check the “Action” field for “Verified” status.
